I'm an old guy who likes to take photos. I take photos because I enjoy the process of being present at interesting locations and events, of identifying and capturing potential images, and the challenges, both aesthetic and technical, of eventually ending up with a good photograph -- whatever that means.

Local Musicians: One of my gallery sections is "Some Local Musicians". My criteria for assembling a gallery focused on a particular musician or group are: they must be currently active performing in the local area and most importantly I need to have taken sufficient photos of their atual performances (not open mic) that I am happy with. If I haven't taken sufficient quality photos, I'm not going to post a gallery.
